How To Put A Tire Swing In Your Yard

AMAZING NEW SYSTEM BUILDS YOUR BUSINESS ON AUTOPILOT

The picture many people have of an American family home includes a great number of things, including a deck in the backyard, some hamburgers on a grill, and the whole family together; but one of the most wonderful elements in this idea of "an American family home" is a group of kids in the backyard playing on a tire swing. If you are wanting to put up a tire swing in your own backyard, there are a few steps you need to make sure you follow; read on to learn how to successfully hang a tire swing of your own.

Picking a tree that will work well is the most important step of hanging a tire swing in your yard; you need to make sure the tree is mature (as this will keep it from growing at a rapid rate and raising your tire swing too far off the ground), and you need to make sure that both the trunk and the bough in question are healthy, as this will be important for keeping your children safe as they play on the tire swing.

Once you have picked the tree, make sure you also choose a rope and a tire that are strong and in good repair as well, as these will also be important parts of keeping your tire swing safe.

In order to hang the tire swing, tie a brick tightly around one end of the rope, and throw it so that it goes over the bough in the spot where you hope to hang the swing. When the brick comes back down (with the rope now draped over the bough), tie a hangman's knot around the rope, and pull on the rope until the knot makes its way up to the bough, with the rope pulled tight.

The last steps of the process are simple; tie the tire at the desired height, making sure the knot is secure, then watch as your children enjoy all the fun that a tire swing has to offer!
